Ses out in force for storm damage clean up

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — With dozens of trees flattened by hurricanes Irma and 바카라 Maria — and thousands more destroyed — local officials issued new orders to improve the quality of life in the heart of the biggest hurricane season yet.

Hurricane Irma destroyed more than 20 homes on Friday night. A couple in their early 40s suffered extensive damage when their home was swept away.

The storm battered Haiti Friday night, where officials ordered the evacuation of more than 100,000 people, including many who were living in hotels.

Officials warned that there could be as many as 200 deaths. That figure could be higher than before the storm as some parts of the island received high winds and rain, 바카라 officials said.

New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu said a team has been deployed to Haiti to assess damage and report on the situation.
