This is the heart-stopping moment a slackline walker almost loses it while walking more than 30m above rocks in Tasmania.
Extreme sportsman Ryan Paul Robinson captured the video as he walked above the Maoi Tower rock formation in Fortescue Bay.
While the rock formation is typically more popular as a climbing spot, Robinson decided to put his slacklining skills to use on it instead.

Robinson’s walk starts off routinely enough, but a few minutes in he appears to be caught out by a sudden gust of wind as the line shakes beneath him.

For several sickening moments Robinson wobbles on the line, throwing his hands out to either side in an attempt to keep his balance.
The shaking manages to get the better of his nerves of steel as he lets out a gasp, but fortunately manages to stay upright.
Robinson was filming himself walking along a thin canvas line toward Maoi Tower in Tasmania when a gust of wind appeared to catch him off balance

Robinson manages to make it to the other side of the rock formation without another slip, and the relief is clear to hear in his voice once he makes it to safety.
Writing on Instagram about the experience, Robinson said: ‘Maybe the most incredible line I’ve ever walked!
‘I don’t know if I’ve ever worked so hard for the lines we established while in Tasmania and on the same token I don’t know if I’ve ever walked more amazing lines than these.’
