After the party Addyson took them all over to the playground on the golf cart. I left then to go meet my airbnb renters, took them on a late corporate golf balls cart ride to introduce them to the horses then show them where the playground is. When Jury was put away we took the kids back to the playground then came back to the farm to tease mares. We took the golf cart over to the farm where Rhoda was working with Skye teaching her the first step to the bow. Rhoda feels Ayanna has a bit better conformation. Today Rhoda worked with Addyson teaching her how to round pen Jury. Jury was also introduced to the tarp. Next out was Jury. Pink making the stark treeline stand out. Karin took out 5 horses for a trail ride. The golf cart was taken out then and mom given a ride up to the barn to see Indy’s colt and the other horses and from there we drove it over to Joan’s house.
It had warmed up into the 50s. Mom was able to walk all the way to my house. I bought one package to leave some at the Berean office along with more napkins, paper plates, a cheese cake for Faith, fruit to go with the cheesecake, and a rotisserie chicken for mom and Karin’s lunch. We were enjoying watching mom and dad’s trip to Puerto Rico with Howard and Nancy Herman, then Lake Gerard in 1957, plenty of Jone’s beach videos and deep sea fishing then the raft trip down the Colorado River. David, Stephanie, Israel and Elisabet were the next to arrive then Phil, Anna, Braelyn, Taegan and Kensly and all came to supper. After church Mark helped move a bale in for the far paddock then Lacy the outside mare that is here to be bred to Valiant was taken over and teased. Taken over to mom’s for ‘church lunch’.
This evening we went to mom’s to watch old movies. When I got back to mom’s house they were just getting ready to go on a walk. No pictures, the camera was left in the house all day. We had another really hot humid day so instead of working outside, laundry was done inside while listening to AC Central. Now that she had the shot to bring her back in she will need to be teased every day. Work on Bible labels. Israel got to go also. When I got back the cookies were put in the apartment and the barn cleaned up. Everyone has now left but we had horse back riding, swimming, fishing, volley ball and lots of golf cart rides. Was able to get it all wound back up.
