Charlotte Dawson steps out in leggy silk pyjama set in Manchester

Charlotte Dawson put on a very animated display as she stepped out for a shopping trip in Manchester on Thursday.

The Ex On The Beach star, 28, looked in high spirits as she posed with her arm and leg in the air wearing a very leggy silk pyjama set, which she paired sky scraper metallic green heels.

She paired the shoes with a matching green handbag, which she totted on her arm as she strutted down the street in the northern city.

She styled her luscious brunette locks poker straight and parted them in the middle so they sat neatly over her shoulders.

Charlotte had a full face of flawlessly applied make up on her face, complete with huge fake eyelashes as she carried huge shopping bags from her trip.

Although she seemed in high spirits on the outing, it was a stark contrast to the middle of June when she broke down in tears and revealed she is on the brink of ‘dangerous’ type 2 diabetes.

Charlotte, whose comedian father Les also suffered from diabetes, was diagnosed with gestational diabetes when she was pregnant with her son Noah.

However Charlotte, who revealed her mother Tracey was recently diagnosed with diabetes, believed that was just a ‘pregnancy thing’ and returned to eating her favourites of chocolate, chips and gravy, McDonalds and Dominoes pizza.

She’s revealed she attended the doctor after feeling lethargic and ‘a bit funny’ only to be told she is on the verge of type 2 diabetes and having to take insulin.

In an emotional video on her Instagram Charlotte told her followers: ‘This is quite a scary story time to talk to you all about. I get so many questions about the gestational diabetes I had with Noah.

‘So I recently went to the doctors last week cause I’ve kind of felt a bit like when I was pregnant with gestational diabetes. It is completely different to type two diabetes.

‘Last week I went to the doctors and I’ve actually basically been warned.’

‘Some tests have come back cause obviously they wanted to see me about the diabetes and I’m a bit like my dad. I don’t like going to the doctors. I don’t like doing stuff like that. I’ve basically been told I could have type 2 diabetes if I don’t sort my diet out.

‘They’ve said obviously they need to keep a check on me now cause of my family history and everything. So yeah, I’ve got to change my diet completely.’
