Eddie Hearn has taken aim at Tyson Fury, suggesting the heavyweight star refuses ‘to fight anyone with a pulse’.

Tyson Fury opened up a war of words with the boxing promoter after suggesting he was solely responsible for Anthony Joshua‘s shock defeat at the hands of Andy Ruiz Jr earlier this month.

However, Hearn responded by questioning the Gypsy King’s choice of opponents of late, suggesting that his fights, such as the second-round victory against Tom Schwarz, have failed to capture the imagination of pay-per-view audiences.

‘I know [Bob] Arum will be trying very hard to make the Wilder fight next,’ he told<a style="font-weight: bold;" class="class" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" website iFL TV. ‘They won’t want to pay [Fury] again for beating someone like Tom Schwarz.

‘[It] didn’t do anything for ESPN. Didn’t do anything on the gate. They won’t want to spend that type of money again.

‘So Bob will be trying to push hard for the Wilder fight to happen next. I think PBC will say, “No, we’ll do it after the [Luis] Ortiz fight.” We’ll see what happens.

‘I don’t expect him to fight Jarrell Miller or anyone with a pulse if he’s going to fight Wilder early next year.’
